Pourtant, Ai Weiwei, toujours assigné à résidence à Pékin, n’a pas pu se rendre au Fine Arts Museum de Taipei, à Taïwan, qui présente, pendant trois mois, 21 de ses œuvres dont une inédite. De cet empêchement, l’artiste a fait un manifeste artistique et politique dans le titre même de l’événement : Ai Weiwei, Absent.<br>
